Quilting is a new born again hobby of mine. I started a quilt over 7 years ago and then became too busy to finish it. I was reintroduced back into quilting and jumped in with both feet. My grandmother was the first quilter in my life and I still have quilts she made. I love how fabrics can just come together and create something new. This blog shows this side of my life. Well I've been sick with a cold this week so I haven't been able to accomplish much on the sewing side of things. However I did manage to complete the quilting on my Mercury Block.
I decided to echo quilt the outer part of this paper pieced block. I'm loving how the quilting turned out.
Still have some threads to bury. Just ignore those :)
You did a great job on the quilting. Hope you're feeling better. I caught the cold as well.
