Monkey Quilt Top Complete :)

A long weekend has started for me. I decided to take tomorrow off earlier in the week since the weather is going to be beautiful and the hubby is off as well. So tonight, I had a great walk/visit with a friend and we also did a little bit of fabric shopping....I'm starting to think I have a problem. I may have to go on a fabric diet for a little while. I know at the moment, I'm loving all the new fabric :) And I have a lot at the moment to help me make a few quilts.

So onto the picture of the completed Monkey Quilt Top :)

Here's a close-up of the stitching on one of the monkeys.

Here is what I'm going to use for the backing. I picked this up last weekend since I thought it would be perfect for this quilt. It's Flannel and I'm not sure how it'll work out with the quilt top being cotton when I start quilting it. Hopefully it'll work out well.

I am fairly happy with the result of this quilt. My husband really likes this one as well so I'll definitely be making this quilt again.
