The Modern Lattice quilt top is finished! Yay! This one came together so quickly! And I still have lots of 5" x 10" pieces left to make another one. I won't be quilting this one right away since I need to quilt a baby panel first but this one will soon follow!
It's quite cold and cloudy here today but it helped to get some really good outdoor pictures :)
And of course a wind shot. It's rare where the wind isn't blowing around here. I do like that this baby quilt isn't too babyish. I'm hoping the little one will be able to snuggle with this one as he or she grows. So now I need to pick out a backing.....I'm going to shop my stash first and see what I can find ;)
Quilting is a new born again hobby of mine. I started a quilt over 7 years ago and then became too busy to finish it. I was reintroduced back into quilting and jumped in with both feet. My grandmother was the first quilter in my life and I still have quilts she made. I love how fabrics can just come together and create something new. This blog shows this side of my life. I answer every comment by email and/or by reply on here. Hope you enjoy my blog. Happy Quilting :)
It looks great. I really like the greens. You made short work of piecing it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Julia! You've been busy! It's c-c-cold here, too.
